Just passing through to share a few shots of Renee & Doug's vibrant purple wedding this fall. I love the decor and style of the wedding. The royal purple wasn't overkill but just enough when mixed with the rustic details. I mean seriously - look at that bridesmaid's bouquet! I just about died when those gorgeous purple hydrangeas arrived!

Another one of my favorite details was the bride's headband. It was unique and very pretty touch when combined with the veil. We love this  oh so sweet couple and were so thrilled to work with them on their special day. Congratulations Renne & Doug!

Our most excited bride finally had her perfect day! And it was such a great one! Pretty pastels, fun details, a homemade fabric banner, and even a little corn hole. Congratulations Sarah & Cliff! We were so thrilled to host your special day!

August 18, 2012: Floral Post! {Orange Spice & Everything Nice}

Every year Pantone declares it's color of the year, and this year it was Tangerine Tango. The fun and funky, vivacious color is a gorgeous one for the summer months and we were thrilled to incorporate it into an August wedding.

By adding touches of blue and white, we highlighted shades of this orange in bouquets and centerpieces in the form of stunning dahlias. Spray roses, hypericum berries, and wax flower provided a lighter touch of the orange to accent the deep rusty and tangerine shades.
